Who we are

Calgary indigenous filmmakers supporting indigenous filmmakers. A group of indigenous founders led by Founding Chair Kevin Littlelight initiated the long awaited Calgary’s first annual indigenous film festival.

This film festival promotes First Nation stories being told from the indigenous lens and gives indigenous cinema a home.

our vision

Our vision is to create a sustainable, world-class Indigenous film festival that amplifies Indigenous perspectives in cinema, nurtures emerging talent, and strengthens cultural identity through visual storytelling.

The Oki Corral aims to become a cornerstone event that bridges traditional storytelling with contemporary film art.
